When you order from Water Pumps Direct, your pump is shipped quickly and directly from our trusted suppliers or warehouse. Our goal is to make sure you receive the right product as smoothly and reliably as possible.
Dispatch
- In-stock items: normally dispatch within 24–48 hours (next business day).
- Out of stock: From time to time, a supplier may advise that a product is unavailable after you place an order (even if listed as in stock on our website — we make every effort to keep information accurate, but as we are not stockists, availability cannot always be guaranteed). In such cases, we will notify you and offer the option to:
(a) cancel the order for a full refund,
(b) accept a suggested alternative product (with any difference in price refunded or payable), or
(c) wait for the original product to become available where an estimated restock date is provided. - Tracking & Invoices: Tracking details are always emailed once your order has been dispatched. A Tax Invoice will normally be sent at the same time. Please whitelist @waterpumpsdirect.com.au so our emails don’t end up in your junk or spam folders. We will only ever email you in relation to your order, and if promotional emails are sent you will always have the option to opt out (for more details, refer to our Privacy Policy).
Delivery Timeframes
After dispatch, typical delivery times are:
- QLD / NSW / VIC (metro): ~1–3 business days
- SA / TAS (metro): ~3–6 business days
- Regional QLD / NSW / VIC (regional): ~3–6 business days
- Regional SA / TAS: ~5–8 business days
- WA / NT: ~7–12 business days
Times are guides only and can vary with supplier dispatch point, courier workloads, weather, or seasonal demand.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your items and delivery address.
Receiving Your Order
- Delivery at Address: Couriers and Australia Post may deliver directly to your address, with or without an Authority to Leave request, and signatures are not always required. Responsibility for the goods passes to you once delivery has been made at the address provided.
- Depot or Post Office Collection: If the driver feels it is unsafe to leave your order (or is unsure), it may be returned to a local depot or post office for your collection.
- PO Boxes / Parcel Lockers: We do not deliver to these addresses. Please provide a street address.
Delivery Notes
- Deliveries are carried out by Australia Post and trusted courier networks. Practices can vary between locations and carriers, which may affect whether your order is left at the premises or redirected to a depot.
- You will be emailed tracking information after dispatch, which will show the status of your delivery and whether collection ends up being required.
- Orders with multiple items may be shipped together or separately, depending on supplier dispatch.
- If you run into any problems with delivery, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will help resolve it.
Check on Arrival
Please inspect within 7 days of delivery and contact us if anything is damaged, missing, or incorrect. Please also include photos if there are issues, as they will help us to resolve any problem quickly.
